ABABONA ngempilakahle kanye lokugcinwa kuhle kwezifuyo abe- Veterinary Services sebekhuthaze abafuye inkomo zenyama ngendlela abangazinakekela ngayo  ukuze zingacubi njengoba sibhekane lesikhathi sokoma, ukuze zibanike inyama elohlonzi.

UDokotela wezifuyo kunhlanganiso yeVeterinary Services esabelweni seMatabeleland North, uTutsirai Vernon Dziruni, ukhuthaze labo abafuye inkomo zenyama ukuthi bazidingele ukudla futhi bazivikele emikhuhlaneni.

“Okuqakathekileyo yikuthi sibekwazi ukuthi ukudla okulungele inkomo lezi yikuphi okwakha umzimba. Inkomo zidinga ukudla okuqinisa umzimba, okulama-proteins, ama-minerals lamanzi. 

“Ukudla okulezakha-mzimba lezi kwenza inkomo yenelise ukunika inzuzo oyabe uyikhangelele njalo lenyama elohlonzi,” kuchaza uDkt Dziruni.

“Okunye okumele likunanzelele ikakhulu ekudleni elikunika  inkomo yikuthi inkomo zenu zinganani, sezindala kumbe yimqegu ukwenzela ukuthi lilinganise kuhle ukudla kokuzinika.

“Okuvamileyo yikuthi imqegu yiyo edla kakhulu lokunatha amanzi amanegi, lokhu kwenziwa yikuthi lezi nkomo ezisesencane ziseselamandla amanengi  okuhamba ibanga elide,” kutsho uDkt Dziruni.

Ubuye wachasisa ukuthi izakhi zomzimba ezinhlanu ezigoqela, amanzi, ama-vitamins, minerals, proteins  le- carbohydrates.

“Izakhamzimba yizo ezincedisa ukwakha umzimba wenkomo zethu ukuze zibe lenyama elohlonzi. 

“Ama-proteins ancedisa inkomo ukuthi ikhule, ukuqinisa imithambo lokupholisa amanxeba asemzimbeni wenkomo. 

“Besokusithi ama-minerals wona ancedisa ekuvikeleni imikhuhlane engahlasela inkomo encedisana alamasotsha omzimba.

“Aqinisa amathambo lamazinyo enkomo lokwengezelela igazi. Ama-vitamins wona ayancedisa ekukhuleni lasekuqiniseni izitho zonke zomzimba wenkomo,” kulandisa uDkt Dziruni.

Uphethe ngokhumbuza abafuyileyo ukuthi bengakhohlwa ukuthenga imithi yokuvikela inkomo zabo zenyama emikhuhlaneni etshiyeneyo.

“Ngithanda ukulixwayisa ukuthi asidibhiseni inkomo zethu, ukuze zingahlaselwa yimikhaza ikakhulu khathesi ngesikhathi sokutshisa imikhaza igcwele, yiyo ethwala imikhuhlane eminengi njalo iyamunya igazi enkomeni. Singakhohlwa njalo ukunanzelela inkomo zethu ngamanzi lokudla okweneleyo ngoba yikho okwenza inkomo lezi zisiphe inyama elohlonzi,” kuphetha uDkt Dziruni.
